Paris, Tenn.–A ribbon-cutting for the new Lakewood School gym floor was held Wednesday afternoon, attracting a large group of educators, officials, staff and students. Henry County Schools Director Dr. Leah Watkins thanked everyone involved in the project, notably Dr. Kyle Stephens who donated toward it. She said the project was the result of ‘an extraordinary collaboration’ between Dr. Stephens, the schools’ coaches and the contractors.” She said, “I’m extremely grateful for the generous donation and our hats are off to Dr. Stephens of West Tennessee Bone & Joint for wanting to give back to the community.” Dr. Stephens said he hoped the new floor “would impact Lakewood for generations to come.” (Shannon McFarlin photo).
