Paris, Tenn.–Big weekend in store at theKrider Performin g Arts Center in Paris as the KPAC Young Artists present two shows on Saturday and one on Sunday.
At 3 PM on Saturday, March 5, the one-act “Star Trip” opens with three brave space explorers who have returned from Mars. When scientists discover that some of the rocks they have brought back from Mars have special properties that enhance intellect, the astronauts are sent back for more precious “Smart Rocks.” Their return to Mars is greeted by a Martian who is generous with the smart rocks….to a point that is.
Plus, the Kindergarten through 3rd grade group presents “Hats!” A Musical That Celebrates What’s Underneath. They have 15 bright young kids who will sing and dance their way through a variety of sports and occupations highlighting the iconic headwear for each.
Then on Sunday, March 6 at 4:30 PM, come see “The Ransom of Emily Jane.” When two bumbling kidnappers take off with young Emily Jane Dorset, they don’t quite know what they’ve gotten themselves into. Emily Jane’s rambunctious nature quickly makes the kidnappers wonder just how much they’d be willing to take to send her back!
