Norma Jean Spaulding, age 84, of Collierville, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Collierville, TN.
Jean graduated from Grove High School with the class of 1956. She worked as a bookkeeper for Holiday Inn for 25 years before their move to Atlanta, GA. She then co-owned a Drapery Service until semi-retirement in 2013.
Jean was born December 23, 1937, in Paris, TN, to the late AJ and Laverne Edwards Bedwell of Paris, TN.
She was married to Bobby Dale Spalding, her husband of 53 years, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Spaulding; and one son, Dan (Linda) Spaulding, all of Collierville, TN; five granddaughters and their husbands, Rebecca (Aaron) Kolb of Jackson, TN, Camille (Nick) Smith of Brookhaven, GA, Sarah (Taylor) Burton of Collierville, TN, Emily (Will) Ford of Starkville, MS, and Mary Kate (Brian) Buckner of Huntersville, NC; and three great granddaughters, Harper, Austen, and Ruby.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Palestine Cemetery in Henry County, TN.
Burial will follow the graveside service in Palestine Cemetery.
