
Mrs. Joyce Driggers, 85, of Troy, passed away 4:50 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022, at AHC of Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Driggers, Shane Bowers, James Haynes, Ethan Lawson, Cotton Brewer, and Jason Allgier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Allgier, Addyson Crow, Hunter Nelson, Noah Nelson, and Jon Tyler Richards.
Joyce was born August 13, 1936 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, daughter of the late Elzie and Ruby (Rupert) Gregory. She married Rufus Driggers, Jr. February 23, 1957. He passed away May 21, 1997. She worked for Crown Manufacturing in Samburg and was a member of Living Word Church in Hornbeak.
She is survived by one son, Mike Driggers of Troy; one daughter, Cheryl Johnson of Troy; seven grandchildren, Brandy Wade of Union City, Mary Lawson (Ethan) of Union City, Catrina Driggers of Union City, Brittany Warren (Steven) of Union City, Jeffrey Driggers, II (Cayce) of Union City, Christy Messick (Sam) of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Jacob Driggers of Clinton, Kentucky; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Peggy Austin of Turrell, Arkansas.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Driggers and Wayne Driggers; two grandchildren, Kandice Driggers and Dakota Driggers; two daughters-in-law, Karen Driggers and Debbie Craddock; 1 son-in-law, Harry Johnson; one sister, Dorothy Smith; and one brother, Raymond Gregory.
