
Paris, Tenn.–The Paris FFA conducted a solemn flag retirement ceremony this morning at Henry County High School. Advisor Laura Moss said this will be an annual event. Emcees for the ceremony were FFA Students Preston Pooler, Tyler Puckett and Aiden Frey. The three took turns reading descriptions of the ceremony and its purpose and asked everyone on hand to “never take for granted the freedoms we have”. The color guard was made up of Students Josie Pettit, Elaina French and Hayden Bostick. A large crowd was on hand, including students, Sheriff Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey, Henry County Schools Director Dr. Leah Watkins, Paris Firefighters Captain Barry Farmer and Justin Hughes, Principal Michele Webb, FFA Advisors Laura Moss and Chance Young and other faculty.
