Martin, Tenn.–Eight Henry County High School students participated in the virtual 2022 WestStar ALStar African American Youth Leadership Summit, Feb. 22. The participating students were Damon Woodruff, Jayda Jones, Kamari Ray, Mariah Johnson, Fajona Sneed, Kyra Taylor, Akeyla Diggs and Mariah Brandon. The ALStar Summit provides African American students in West Tennessee the opportunity to learn from men and women in business, including several UT Martin alumni, who have made successful careers for themselves in a variety of fields.
