
Martin, Tenn.–A pedestrian escaped with minor injuries after being hit by a car in a Martin crosswalk.
Martin Assistant Police Chief Phillip Fuqua said the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on South Lindell Street.
According to the report, James England, age 23, of Lafayette, Arkansas, was walking along a crosswalk and was hit by the vehicle driven by Sharon Rhodes, age 64 of Dresden.
As a result, England flipped onto the hood, hitting the windshield, pushing the windshield inward. He was not transported to a hospital.
