Henry Co. Helping Hand Total Now At $319,711

Paris, Tenn.–With the $2,636 raised Monday, the grand total raised in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $319,711.

Items were donted by the 4-H Clubs of Henry County, No Fly Zone, Future Farmers of America, Eiffel Gardens, Young Farmers and Ranchers and Henry County Basketball Boosters. Auctioneer was Jamie Orr and the Athena Delphian Club manned the phones.

Tuesday’s items will be donated by Paris City employees, the Como community, BPU and Project Help. Auctioneer will be Junior Staggs.

The annual auction started January 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
