Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $290,795

Paris, Tenn.–With the $3,358 raised today, the annual Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has made $290,795 so far this year.

Today’s items were donated by Easton’s Angels, Friends of McNeill Park, Salvation Army, HCHS Baseball and REAL Hope Youth Center. Jamie Orr was auctioneer and the Paris Rotary Club helped man the phones.

Orr will again be auctioneer Saturday, which will be a big day, as the First United Methodist Church will be donating items.

The auction Saturday begins at noon.

The annual auction started on January 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. and Saturday auctions begin at noon. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
