Helping Hand Radio Auction Now at $273,124

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $273,124.

The total raised today was $2,178, with items donated by Henry/Bunns community, Henry Beta Club, Senior Citizens Center, Point Pleasant Baptist Church and Open Doors Church. Auctioneer today was Junior Staggs.

Tomorrow’s items will be donated by the Sunnyside, Country Wood and Scenic Hills/Castleton Cove communities, Henry Co. Food Bank, Ladies With SWAG, and the HCHS Fishing Team. Darrin Thompson will be auctioneer.

The annual auction started on Monday and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
