Funeral services for Douglas Carey Perdue are Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church, Gleason. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 14, 2022 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Tumbling Creek Cemetery. Officiating the service is Brother Gene Price. Pallbearers are Farris McGinnis, Brent Griffin, Blake Bargery, Chase Griffin, Glen Thomas Arnold and Terry Burnell and honorary pallbearers is the Gleason Golf Club.

Mr. Perdue, 84 years old, died at his residence on Friday, February 11, 2022. He is a retired Assistant Police Chief at Shreveport, LA, a graduate of the FBI National Academy, U.S. Secret Service School, LSU Juvenile Academy, LSU Profiling School, a licensed pilot, winner of numerous horse shows with Paints and Quarter horses, a member of the US Navy and Tumbling Creek Baptist Church. He was born in Winnfield, LA on September 13, 1937 to the late Jessie Caldwell and Grace James Perdue.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Diana M. Perdue of McKenzie, a daughter Christi (Chris) Dohogne, granddaughter Cara Dohogne and special friend Tammy Solomon.
