Paris, Tenn.–The third structure fire in Henry County in two days destroyed a residence in the Cottage Grove area today.
The Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 5901 Hwy. 69N in the Osage community where firefighters found a single-wide trailer home on fire.
A resident of the home was reported to be uninjured.
The Paris Fire Department provided mutual aid and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office directed traffic around the fire scene.
From Cottage Grove, three fire units with 12 firefighters responded and from the Paris Fire Department, one fire unit and two personnel responded. Firefighters were on scene for some 2 1/2 hours.
