Huntingdon Hit & Run Victim Airlifted To Vanderbilt

Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Huntingdon Police Department is investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian last night on Veterans Drive in Huntingdon.

Director of Public Safety Walter Smothers said, “At approximately 7:43 p.m. HPD was notified that a person had been hit by a vehicle on Veterans Drive near Cotham Drive. The victim, a 30 year old female resident of Huntingdon, was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.”

Her condition is unknown at this time.

Parts from the offender’s vehicle appear to be from a Kia Sonata, gray in color.

“We are asking anyone that may see a vehicle with damage matching this description to please call the Huntingdon Police Department at 731-986-5310,” Smothers said.
