Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $187,053

Paris, Tenn.–With 16 slates of items, the Henry County Medical Center today raised $3,216, bringing the grand total of the Helping Hand Radio Auction at $187,053.

Auctioneer today was David Jackson, with volunteers from the Professional Business Women manning the phones.

With the auction suspended the last two days due to treacherous driving conditions, donor days have been rescheduled:

On Monday, the Buchanan community and Lakewood will be donating along with First Christian Church, Habitat for Humanity and Literacy Council.

TARP and Guthrie Road has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 10; and Holy Cross Catholic Church will be on Friday, February 11.

The annual auction started January 10 and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.

Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.

The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
