Paris, Tenn.–As of 8 a.m. today, there still were roughly 700 customers of the Paris Board of Public Utilities in Henry County without power.
This morning, crews from Benton County Electric System and Bolivar Energy Authority joined the restoration efforts.
BPU Marketing Director Meagan Hart said, “At this time a total of 45 outage locations remain with most of these outages being attributed to down wire from ice and trees.”
Hart said, “Crews will continue to work through the day to get power fully restored. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while crews have worked in less than desirable conditions. Stay safe, stay warm and we will post an update around 1 pm this afternoon.”
