Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway took time out of his day Wednesday to read aloud to children during an event at FirstBank in downtown Paris. Wednesday was World Read Aloud Day, which highlights the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories. While at FirstBank, Ridgeway also issued a proclamation declaring it Read Aloud Day.
