
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff‘s Office with the assistance of agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and State Agriculture Crime agents are investigating three suspicious fires which occurred overnight.
The thres occurred at three different locations in the county between 11:56 p.m. and 2:40 a.m.
Sheriff Josh Frey said the department is seeking the public’s help by asking you to check any footage on security or trail cameras.
The fires were at the following locations:
1) 1/30/2022 at 11:56 pm a barn was reported to be on fire
on Ashby Ln. near the intersection with Mt. Sinai Rd, in
Buchanan.
2) 1/31/2022 at 2:00 am a vacant house was reported to be
on fire on Reynoldsburg Rd. at the intersection with Travis
Boyd Rd. in Mansfield.
3) 1/31/2022 at 2:40 am hay bales were reported to be on
fire in the edge of a field on Hwy 218 near Palestine Rd.
The Sheriff‘s Office is asking for the public‘s assistance by checking trail cameras, security cameras and to report any information or suspicious vehicles last night through the early morning hours in the area of the above locations to the Henry County Sheriff‘s Office at 731–642–1672.
