
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction now stands at $114,146 raised.
With 16 slates of items from New Harmony Baptist Church, Sparks St. Church of Christ, HCHS Band Boosters/Color Guard, Inman Band, Heritage Center and the Historical Society, a total $3,106 was raised today.
David Jackson filled in for Junior Staggs as today’s auctioneer; Staggs will be on hand Tuesday.
The annual auction started in early January and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.
Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.
The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
