
Paris, Tenn.–With the $3,522 raised today, the grand total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $58,783.
Items today were donated by the Palestine community, Central Point community, Bridge of Hope Church and Tennessee Valley High Bss Club.
Tomorrow will be a big day at the Helping Hand Auction, with Educator’s Day on tap. The county’s educators will be donating items for both the afternoon auction and the first evening auction for the year. The afternoon auction begins at noon, with the evening auction set for 6:30 p.m.
The annual auction started last week and will continue through March 2, raising funds for over 80 local non-profit and service organizations.
Photos of items that are donated each day are posted on the “Henry County Helping Hand” Facebook page. Anyone who wants to bid on any item can describe the item or give the number of the item as posted on the Facebook page.
The auction is broadcast daily over WTPR 101.7 FM and 710 AM at 12:30 p.m. You can also listen on our website at www.radionwtn.com, where it is live streamed.
