Puryear, Tenn.–For many years, Puryear Day was a great celebration for the Puryear community and now that the Puryear Lions Club has reorganized, its members are behind the scenes planning, fundraising, and getting sponsorships to make Puryear Day possible again.
Lions Club members invited the public to a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Puryear United Methodist Christian Life Center. The agenda for this week will be planning for Puryear Day and supporting the Puryear Helping Hand Day. All are welcome.
