In what the Animal Rescue Corp. is calling “Operation Infinite Hope”, 27 dogs who have been surviving in terrible hoarding conditions were rescued from a home in McKenzie yesterday.
ARC officials said, “These dogs are underweight and matted. Many have untreated eye ulcers and other injuries. Three are likely pregnant. All have been living in their own waste and dangerous clutter.”
Berty White, named in memory of the beloved late actress and her viral 100th birthday challenge, and Marty are just two of the little dogs rescued.
Berty White shadowed the Field Team from the moment they arrived, as if he were hoping for kindness and rescue. Marty was one of the dogs who has been living in a cold, unheated, muddy, dark crawlspace under the house.
ARC is raising funds to provide for the animals on the Animal Rescue Corps Facebook page.
