paris-landing

Paris, Tenn.–Paris Landing State Park is No. 2 in the amount of funds donated through the My TN State Park fundraiser. During January, Tennessee State Park supporters can donate to vote for their favorite Tennessee State Park. That means, if Paris Landing is your favorite, you can donate to vote for them and they’ll use your donations to improve our park.
Paris Landing has received the second-most donations already in the category of parks with over 750,000 annual visitors. It has received $1,662 in donations.
Reelfoot is No. 13 in the same category, with $191 in donations received already.

Paris Landing has big plans for the park and your votes can help achieve those goals. Here are a few projects that they can complete with your support during this fundraiser:

Project #1: With $2,000 of support, we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire. This will help to keep the birds safe and prevent entanglements.

Project #2: With $3,000 of support,  we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire and build a larger free-standing flight cage for the rehabilitation center.  The flight cage will allow birds to better regain their strength and flying skills prior to release.

Project #3: With $4,000 of support, we will replace the aging netting at the Birds of Prey rehabilitation facility with coated wire, build a larger free-standing flight cage for the rehabilitation center, and build a flight cage for our nature center. This will allow us to have a larger area for our flighted or partially flighted resident education raptors to exercise.
