Union City, Tenn.–A Union City man is in critical condition after being found shot in a yard last night.
At 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, Union City Police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Nash Street in reference to a subject who had been shot.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Dennis Jones, age 22, lying in the grass behind an apartment. Jones had been shot in the upper body and was transported from the scene by EMS personnel to Baptist Memorial.
Jones was then airlifted to Regional One, the Med, in Memphis. Jones is listed in critical but stable condition.
