Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man who had barricaded himself in his home and was throwing bottles at officers was apprehended by Henry County Sheriff’s Office K9 Jagr, after being deployed by his partner, Deputy Dalton Watson.
Suspect Bradley Green was bitten on the hand and leg and was first transported to the Henry County Medical Center for treatment, afterwhich he was booked into the county jail.
The Paris Police and Henry County Sheriff’s Office worked together on the arrest of Green at 285 Whiskey Ridge on December 23, according to Sheriff Josh Frey.
Paris Police had located Green at that address and had warrants for his arrest on charges of theft of a vehicle, aggravated burglary and domestic assault.
Once contact was made with Green, Frey said, he retreated inside and began to barricade himself.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist due to Green making threats towards officers and arming himself with scissors. Officers began to talk Green into coming out peacefully which proved unsuccessful. Green did drop the scissors but then began to throw bottles at the officers, Frey said.
Deputy Dalton Watson deployed K-9 Jagr to apprehend Green which resulted in Green being bitten on the hand and leg.
