Paris, Tenn.–Santa is making his climb up a bright red Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tennessee for the holidays. The climbing Santa Claus was installed and dedicated in a special night-time ceremony in late November and has been drawing crowds for photo opportunities since then. The Eiffel Tower itself has been changing colors, from green to blue and now red for the Christmas holidays. With the help of the City of Paris, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Paris Board of Public Utilities, the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Paris Association led the initiative to add the 16-foot tall lighted Santa Claus, who appears to be climbing the iconic 70-ft Eiffel Tower, which is located in the city’s Eiffel Tower Park.
