Dover, Tenn.–The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended The Grinch, just before he could partake in any more mayhem before Christmas. Thanks to tips from citizens, he was arrested this morning by Sheriff Frankie Gray, Sgt. Robbie MacDonald and K9 Harry. He was arrested on the following charges: Breach of the Christmas Spirit, Larceny and Loitering. He currently is being held in jail to prevent him from disrupting Christmas. In his latest escapades this week, the Sheriff’s Office received several complaints about The Grinch just hanging around businesses, touching items on the shelves and bothering people in general. He was spotted Rise and Shine, Elk Harbor in Cumberland City, the new Tractor Supply Company in Dover, EZ Money Pawn and Gun along with Ray’s Barber Shop, wanting to cut hair or just being a nuisance.
