
Paris, Tenn.–Neil Thompson picked up his petition to run for District Attorney General for the 24th Judicial District, which covers Henry, Benton, Carroll, Decatur, and Hardin Counties.
Thompson is a candidate in the Republican Primary.
Thompson said he is proud to be a lifelong West Tennessean. He and his wife Katie reside in Springville, where they are raising their two children. Thompson has focused his career on criminal justice and has argued cases from General Sessions Courts to the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Thompson said he is dedicated to serving the people of our district in this role and is unwavering on his passion about this position. He said he is committed to using the knowledge and expertise he has developed over decades of working in criminal law “to ensure that our families are safe, our children are protected, and criminals are brought to justice.”
Early voting starts April 13, 2022, and the Primary Election Day is May 3, 2022.
