Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Medical Center board of trustees Tuesday night unanimously approved a mutual separation agreement with embattled CEO Lisa Casteel, who has been at the center of ongoing controversy surrounding the hospital in recent weeks.
Under terms of the agreement, Casteel will no longer serve as CEO, but will remain as consultant through the end of January. Sources said the agreement has been under negotiations for the past few days.
The hospital’s Chief Financial Officer Brad Bloemer will serve as the interim CEO.
Hospital officials said they will release more information from the meeting later.
