Fancy Farm, Ky.–Graves Sheriff’s deputies have been investigating an incident in which several gun shots were fired into the Fancy Farm Fire Department just a few hours after the tornado hit the county and when firefighters were involved in rescues.
The Sheriff’s Office has obtained an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Landon S. Thomas of the Fancy Farm-Mayfield area and is seeking the public’s help in locating him.
According to Sheriff Jon Hayden, “The shooting occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. Saturday morning about seven hours after the tornado struck our county. Fortunately no firefighters were in the building at the time of the shooting, as they were involved in rescues around the county.”
Thomas is facing charges of:
1. 1st Degree Criminal Mischief
2. 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment
