
Reelfoot Lake, Tenn.–The search continues for a Florida man who has been missing since the tornado hit Cypress Point Resort at Reelfoot Lake Friday night. Cypress Point was destroyed by the tornado.
Jamie Antonio Hall was in a group of five people who traveled from Tallahassee to Reelfoot for a duck hunting excursion over the weekend. Two other members of Hall’s family were found deceased earlier.
Search efforts have been ongoing to Geaux Rescue, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, West Tennessee River Basin Authority and volunteers. Geaux Rescue is a search and rescue group from Alabama and Memphis.
On Monday, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department requested their assistance with the search
According to Geaux officials, the search area consists of a land search filled with debris and rubble as well as searching the surrounding waters. This will be a slow, methodical search.
West Tennessee River Basin Authority has provided floating backhoes to remove large debris from the water in the search area and a side scan sonar.

Officials said, “We still have boots on the ground in Cayce, KY assisting with clean up and recovery efforts.”
