Debris:
After working with Obion County we were able to get the burn permit approved. Thanks to First Choice Farm & Lawn for providing the heavy equipment needed to get the debris removed from Lake Drive all the way to the end of Samburg city limits.
Weather will determine when that process will start.
If you need help with debris removal please contact Phillip Reed 731-446-6786.
The CORE response team has arrived and are ready to assist. “They respond to needs on the ground as it evolves.”
For more information on this group, visit: www.coreresponse.org
The Red Cross will be moving into the Samburg Baptist Church.
Donations: Please, NO more tangible donations.
You can still continue to send monetary donations at Security Bank, and make checks payable to the SAMBURG RELIEF FUND.
This is the only form of donations being accepted at this time.
Traffic Control:
Monday and Tuesday, barriers will be put up.
Unless you are an emergency vehicle, there will be absolutely no vehicle traffic on South Reelfoot, Spring Street, Griffin Street, Cherry Street, and Quillen Street.
