Mayfield, Ky.–TVA officials announced Tuesday afternoon that all but three of their connection points with local power companies have been restored. The remaining connections to the Mayfield Electric and Water System in western Kentucky and Lexington Electric Service in west Tennessee are still being repaired. TVA crews are working 24/7 to make the necessary repairs to the system. Power has been restored to more than 226,000 residents, and less than 28,000 remain without power.
