Paris, Tenn.–Paris BPU crews headed out early this morning with 70 customers left to restore.

This morning crews will be working to restore the remaining houses on Tan Yard Hill, and by end of day, they expect to have Lampkins Rd, Cox Rd, Veasey Rd, Deerfield Ln. and the remaining houses in the Cypress area restored.

BPU Marketing Director Meagan Hart said, “We will continue working the rest of this week on clean up as well as reconnecting customers who had issues/damage on their side of the meter. Thank you again for your patience and kind words and support. It is truly a privilege to serve you Henry County.”

In the immediate aftermath of Friday night’s tornadoes, there were some 1,800 customers without power in multiple outage locations throughout the county, as well as 50 broken poles, extensive downed lines and a great deal of debris to clear through.
