Paris, Tenn.–The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the report on Thursday afternoon’s one-vehicle accident which caused serious injuries to a Springville woman.
According to the report, Melissa McGuire, age 48, was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty northbound on Hwy. 69 when the vehicle traveled off the roadway. The Jeep collided with a tree and came to rest on its left side facing a northern direction.
She was reportedly extricated from the vehicle and airlifted from the scene.
According to the THP report, she was wearing a seltbelt. No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
