Planning Commission OKs Mineral Wells Animal Clinic Addition

Paris, Tenn.–Meeting in short session Thursday night, the Paris Muncipal Regional Planning Commission approved two minor site plans: one to expand the Mineral Wells Animal Clinic and another to add on to a contractor’s storage property on Ruff St.

The site plan request for the veterinary cinic at 1116 Volunteer Dr. was submitted by Dr. Chad Edwards and Dr. Tyler David and will allow an addition to the clinic propert. The addition will be to both the north and south sides of the building for a total 648 square feet.

City Community Development Director Jennifer Morris said the addition will be to each side of the rear of the main building. She said the addition meets setback and other requirements.

The commission also approved a minor site plan requested by Scott McDevitt of Paris for property he owns on Ruff Street. McDevitt is a contractor and keeps supplies there. The 988 square foot section will be added to the existing building. Morris said the proposal meets all setback and other requirements.

In other business, the commission voted unanimously to change its meeting time to 5:30 p.m. beginning in January.
