Dover, Tenn.–As he did last Christmas season, The Grinch is causing mayhem in Stewart County and was caught on camera trying to steal a Christmas tree.
Stewart County Sheriff Frankie Gray said the department is looking for The Grinch, who already was on probation from last year’s antics.
“He has been seen at several of our local businesses, where he was spotted at Donna’s 4 Seasons trying to steal a christmas tree. He was also seen at Gray’s Garage messing around in their office area and the next thing we know he’s inside of one of the vehicles that’s being worked on,” he said.
“Mr. Grinch thought he would be nice so he goes by Wallace’s Supply and butters up Randy Wallace and the other guys and plays a few hands of cards with them,” Gray said.
Everyone thought he was leaving, but instead he was seen taking lumber “and he could possibly be looking at a felony charge due to the cost of lumber,” Gray said, “After a day of pure mischief he goes into A Cut Above Hairstyling Salon to have his nails worked on and a hair trim and instead of being nice he runs out of the shop without paying for his services.”
