Christmas Festivities in Carroll County
- A Mistletoe Christmas – A Mistletoe Christmas started November 30th and will continue till December 11th. For more information, please go to the A Mistletoe Christmas Facebook found on the City of McKenzie Event page. The McKenzie Christmas parade will take place on December 4th.
- Clarksburg Open House – On Saturday, December 4th, there will be an open house at Clarksburg City Hall from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Santa Breakfast – On December 11th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the West Carroll Band Boosters are hosting their annual Breakfast with Santa. You can purchase tickets in advance from any band student. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Pictures with Santa will be $5.
- Main Street Christmas – On Saturday, December 11th, Main Street Christmas will take place in downtown Huntingdon. Festivities will start at 2:00 pm with It’s a Wonderful Life at the Court Theater and Birdsong School of Music Concert at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center. At 5:30 pm, the lighting of the tree will take place at City Hall. The parade will begin at 6:00 pm. There will also be a Nativity Scene at the Court House, food from restaurants, local shopping, pop-up shops, and more.
- Christmas 4 Kids – The second annual Harold Miller Memorial Christmas 4 Kids will be on December 19th at 4:00 pm. There will be a parade, food, pictures with Santa, light displays, etc. For more information, please go the Christmas 4 Kids Facebook page.
- Santa Paws is Coming to Town – The Carroll County Humane Society is hosting an in-person Santa Paws event for their shelter pets this year. You can contact the Humane Society at 731-352-9950 about selecting a dog or cat to buy gifts for the event. On Saturday, December 18th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, you can drop off the shelter gifts you purchased. You can also drop off your gifts before December 18th during business hours.

- Huntingdon – Saturday, Dec. 11th at 6:00 pm
- McKenzie – Saturday, Dec. 4th at 4:00 pm
