Obion County, Tenn.–The Run the Rails committee was able to give a donation of $10,000 to the Masquerade Theatre to assist in the roofing project. Last Thursday, November 18th, the committee hosted an after hours reception in honor of those who sponsored, volunteered their time, and helped make the race happen. The race was started by community volunteers who wanted to provide an experience in downtown Union CIty as well as help fund needed projects. This was the first year for Run the Rails, and it brought runners from 5 states, as well as raise money for the historical community staple. Mr. Dave Ring matched the funding from Run the Rails to donate to the Masquerade Theatre in honor of Catherine Nailling and her daughter Pam Nailling. Brooke Coffey photo.
