
Paris, Tenn.–Winners of the 2021 Festival of Trees were announced this morning as the event readies for its opening Friday, November 26. A record 30 trees fill the 5 & 10 Event Center in downtown Paris.
Best of Show this year is the tree created by Mockingbird Catering. Winners were announced at the Paris-Henry County Chamber Coffee. Chamber CEO Travis McLeese thanked Mary Beth Puckett at My Favorite Things for being a Christmas partner and presenting the Festival of Trees this year. He also thanked Ed and Vickey Roberts for the use of the 5 & 10 for the venue of the Festival of Trees, which will be open from Friday, November 26 through Thursday, December 16.
Other winners are:
Best Thinking Out of the Box: first place, Paris Police; second, Paris BPU; third place, Merison’s.
Best Theme: first, Security Bank; second, Salon LaTour; third, TVCC.
Most Traditional: first, Carl Perkins Center; second, Forever Communications; third, Henry County CASA.
Most Creative: first, W.G. Rhea Library; second, Bethel; third, Henry County Fair.
Best Tiny Tree: Hulme Sporting Goods.
Hours this year are:
Thursdays: noon to 3 p.m.
Fridays: noon to 2 .m. and 5-7 p.m.
Saturdays: noon to 3 p.m.
Sundays: 2 to 4 p.m.
