Counce: Nothing Better Than Playing Football On Thanksgiving

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Patriots advanced to the semi-finals of TSSAA playoffs Friday night with a big win over Springfield High School.  

The crowd cheered after Friday’s game when Coach Counce declared “There’s nothing I love more than playing football on Thanksgiving!”

The Henry County Patriots will be traveling to Page High School near Franklin on Friday night to take on  the Page Patriots.  Page has a record of 12 and 1 better than the Knoxville West team with 11-2, Powell 11-2 and Henry County 8-5 overall.  Henry County has scored 83 points and held opponents to 29.  Page has scored 85 points and held their opponents to 43.  On the other side Knoxville West has scored 166 points and held opponents to 74.  Powell has scored 118 and held their opponents to 37.

Exciting football playoff action will be broadcast for the McKenzie Rebels on WHDM 98.9 FM and Patriots on WLZK 94.1 FM.  The games will also be streamed live and can be accessed on your computer or tablet by going to the LISTEN LIVE button on radionwtn.com.
