Two Henry County High School students are among those nominated by Congressman David Kustoff, R-Tennessee, to military academies in the U.S.
Henry County students nominated to the Air Force Academy are Camren Stevenson and Brady Crawford.
Congressman Kustoff called the two at the high school on Friday and Kustoff made the official announcement today.
HCHS Principal Michele Webb said, “We are PATRIOT PROUD of Camren and Brady for receiving a nomination from Congressman Kustoff to the United States Air Force Academy! These gentlemen have worked hard to earn this nomination with applications, essays, and multiple interviews. Congressman Kustoff surprised us all with a phone call to HCHS today to let them know of their status. Their process is not complete, but this was a big next step, and we couldn’t be more excited for them!”
Rep. Kustoff said, “Congratulations to every West Tennessee student who received a nomination to our military service academies. One of my favorite parts of this job is calling these young men and women to let them know they were nominated to one of our military academies. This is an incredible honor, and I am so proud of these men and women who choose to serve our nation.”
