
Paris, Tenn.–It was a stellar evening for the Paris Rotary Club, as the club celebrated its 100th year at a celebration last night.
District Governor Michal Babb was the keynote speaker and he presented awards to Past President Tim Boyd and Dr. Eugene Gulish. Dr. Gulish was recognized as district Humanitarian of the Year for his work in medical treatment in Africa. Past President Tim Boyd was presented Public Image awards for technology in using the zoom platform over the past year during Covid protocols, allowing the club to continue to meet. He won for Best Use of Social Media to promote Rotary. Paris Rotary also won Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus Award for Best Projects to Support Disease Prevention and Treatment.
Over 100 members and guests attended the program, which was held at the Paris Convention Center.
