Martin, Tenn.–Westview Ag Science students recently got elbow-deep in new experiences as they trekked over to the University of Tennessee at Martin Vet Science large animal lab.
Teacher David Hochreiter said they are to be congratulated “for stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new things in agriculture.” He noted that while they initially questioned if they would be able to put into practice the information that had learned in class, they surprised themselves “as they took that knowledge and did it like champs.” He expressed gratitude to Dr. Jason Roberts at UTM for providing the students the opportunity.
