McKenzie, Tenn.–The McKenzie Rebels continued their undefeated season Friday night at Randy Thomas Field in McKenzie defeating Cornersville 28 to 0 to advance and play Fayetteville next Friday night.
Marquez Taylor, a Mister Football nominee, caught two touchdown passes from Jackson Cassidy and Cassidy ran for one touchdown himself. Cassidy completed 6 of 7 passes for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. Taylor had 19 carries for 98 yards and 1 TD. Jackson Cassidy had 18 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown and Rashon McCreary haad 1 carry for 2 yards. The Rebels had 317 yards offense while the Rebel defense held Cornersville to 34 total yards on the night.
The Rebels scored one touchdown in each of the quarters on the night.
