Craig Named County Clerk Of Year; Bomar Honored In Hall Of Fame

Chattanooga, Tenn.–Henry County Clerk Donna Craig, was awarded 2020-2021 County Clerk of the Year for Tennessee at this years annual COAT Conference held in Chattanooga this past week.
Craig was selected by the County Clerks Association. She served as the 2020-2021 President of the Association.
Craig said, “What an honor it was to serve such an amazing group of officials but without the hardworking staff it wouldn’t have been possible.”
During this annual conference, Craig also had the honor of selecting and presenting the County Clerk’s Hall of Fame Inductee Award to Jerry Bomar, former Henry County Clerk. The criteria to receive the award required the recipient to have previously held their elected position for a minimum of 20 years, exhibit the highest caliber of professionalism, lead with integrity and serve the community.
“Jerry Bomar meets all these requirements and definitely exceeds them. It was an honor to work for him” said Craig.
Also attending the COAT Conference and there to support Bomar were Henry County Trustee Randi French; Henry County Court Clerk Mike Wilson, and Jerry’s wife Janet.
