Paris, Tenn.–Members of a Tennessee Valley Community Church small group donated bird feeders for residents of Henry County Healthcare Center.
Group facilitators Bill and Linda Moody (pictured left), and group members, John and Mary Castro (far right), along with HCHC Activities Director, Tim Lee, and Assistant, Debbie Hutcherson (center) met to install the feeders outside of residents’ windows.
The small group, as well as the entire TVCC fellowship, is participating in “40 Days in the Word,” a Bible study by Rick Warren which encourages the attendees to engage in various mission projects. The small group, consisting of 15 members, hopes that as winter approaches and a variety of birds begin to use the feeders, that the residents will enjoy watching the feathered friends.
The church, which meets at 2500 East Wood St., welcomes new group members wishing to be a part of the current study series.
