Union City, Tenn.–With the upcoming Veteran’s Day holiday, Obion County Register of Deeds Cheryl Reddin wants to thank all veterans for their service to our country and remind all veterans to bring their certified military discharge papers – DD214s – to the register’s office to be recorded.

Recording this important document will allow veterans and their families to always have access to a copy.  There is never a charge for recording or retrieving copies, according to Ms. Reddin.

The register’s office, located on the north end of the main floor of the courthouse, is open Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The office will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day.
