Paris, Tenn.–The newest exhibit at Paris Academy for the Arts, featuring works of dually talented artists-musicians, opens this Sunday, November 7, with a reception from 2-4 p.m.

Initially displayed earlier this year at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, in Brownsville, Tennessee, “Crossing Lines,” featured the visual artwork of regional musicians. Paris Academy for the Arts has expanded the show to include additional artist-musicians in “Crossing Lines 2.”

The show will feature the artwork of seven nationally- and regionally-known artists who are also musicians: Bill Chris, Olivia “Josie” Goulding, Dan Knowles, Patrick McGee, Martin Paschall, Leland Porter, and Eric Stonebraker. The eclectic exhibit includes paintings and prints, glass and ceramic pieces, as well as drawings and sculpture, many which are for sale.

In addition, Paris Academy for the Arts will be presenting a Best of Show award during Sunday’s reception, judged by retired UTM Art Professor, Diane S. Miles.

The opening reception, Sunday, November 7, from 2-4 p.m. is free of charge, and the public is invited. “Crossing Lines 2” will be on display at Paris Academy for the Arts from November 7 through January 2.

Paris Academy for the Arts is located at 402 Lee Street, Paris, Tennessee.
