Murray, Ky.–The Murray Bank announced it has scored a major “Goal” for Bee Creek! The Murray Bank presented a check to the Murray-Calloway Co. Parks for $500,000 to help secure lighting for The Murray Bank Bee Creek Soccer Complex.
“What a great day for Murray and Calloway County,” said Bob Hargrove, President and CEO of The Murray Bank. “The main reason it’s a great day is when you look around and see all the kids out here playing and taking advantage of this facility, that’s the reason we are making this donation.”
This investment will not only light the fields, but will allow the parks and Murray Calloway County Soccer Association to host more tournaments and bring in more teams to those tournaments in the years to come.
“We cannot thank The Murray Bank, their staff, and their Board of Directors enough for what they have done,” said Bob Rogers, Mayor of Murray. “They have turned what is already a nice facility into something that will impact future generations for years to come.”
