Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Veterans’ Day Parade will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, with Rito Rodriguez serving as Grand Marshal.
Organizer Ann Smith said, “As of right now we have 33 entries, which includes the Henry County High School Band, the National Guard, all the veterans’ organizations, Fort Campbell, plus cars and trucks with veterans.”
The parade will follow the same route as always–beginning at the fairgrounds and moving down East Wood Street. Smith said anyone who wants to be in the parade needs to be at the fairgrounds parking lot by 10:15 a.m.
Grand Marshal Rodriguez lives in Springville with his wife, Betty. He lived in Chicago before moving to Springville. He was a Corporal in the Army, serving from May 14 ,1951 to April 28,1954.
